One City, One Book: Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson
We are partnering with the University of Redlands and are excited to announce a young readers' event for kids and parents! One City, One Book was started by students and faculty of the English Department at U of R, and we hope you'll join us for a guided community discussion of Fever 1793 at The Frugal Frigate on Saturday, May 21st, just after the store closes to the public.
You can either read the book prior to the gathering, or come to the discussion and pick up a copy and read it after if you'd like. No pressure, this is supposed to be fun (not homework)!
If you purchase Fever 1793 from The Frugal Frigate and mention this event we are offering 10% off your entire purchase that includes Fever 1793. (Valid through the evening of the event.)
Please RSVP here if possible, so we can get an idea of how many to expect: https://fb.me/e/1FrVqKVpG
Masks are strongly encouraged at this indoor event.
