About the Author
Andrew Lewand was born and raised in Fairport, New York, which is a suburb of Rochester. He is married, and has two children. He enjoys sports, and is a Physical Education teacher and lacrosse coach at Fairport Central Schools. Lewand is an ardent hunter who regularly pursues squirrel, deer, coyote, fox, woodchuck, crow, and turkey. Lewand's fascination with predators began when he was a student at SUNY Cobleskill majoring in Fisheries & Wildlife Technology. Lewand began to intensely study fox and coyotes and their biology. 27 years later, Lewand still enjoys studying and pursuing predators, and has formed The Bark at the Moon Coyote Club as a way to share the thrill of predator hunting. Lewand is a free lance writer whose work can be seen in many magazines. He is a frequent presenter of predator hunting seminars across the Northeast. He has written several books on predator hunting, as well.
